Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully. By booking a tour or any travel service with Ranmini Tours (Pvt) Ltd ("we," "us," "our," or "the Company"), you ("the Client" or "you") agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, which form the entire agreement between you and Ranmini Tours (Pvt) Ltd.
1. Booking and Payments
1.1 Reservation: All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation. A booking is considered confirmed once you receive a confirmation via email or WhatsApp from Ranmini Tours. No deposit is required.
1.2 Advance Payment: An advance payment of 25% of the total tour cost is required, if possible, to help secure your reservation. Your tour consultant will provide further details if needed.
1.3 Final Payment: The remaining balance of the tour cost can be settled on the final day of the tour.
1.4 Payment Methods: Payments can be made via bank transfer or other methods as agreed upon with Ranmini Tours. All payments must be made in the currency specified by us.
2. Pricing
2.1 Inclusions: The quoted price includes only the services specifically listed in your confirmed itinerary.
2.2 Exclusions: Prices generally exclude international and domestic airfare unless specified, visa fees, travel insurance, personal expenses (laundry, telephone calls, souvenirs, alcoholic beverages, special meals not included in the itinerary), gratuities, and any other items not expressly listed as included.
2.3 Price Changes: We reserve the right to amend our prices at any time due to unforeseen circumstances such as increases in government taxes, fuel costs or currency fluctuations. In such cases, we will notify you as soon as possible, and you will be required to pay the difference.
6. Passports, Visas, and Health
6.1 Responsibility: It is your sole responsibility to ensure that you possess a valid passport, obtain all necessary visas, permits, and comply with all health requirements (e.g., vaccinations) for entry into Sri Lanka.
6.2 Information: We can provide general advice on passport, visa, and health requirements, but this information is for guidance only. We recommend consulting your respective embassy/consulate and a medical professional for the most up-to-date and accurate information.
6.3 Denied Entry: We accept no responsibility if you are denied entry to Sri Lanka due to non-compliance with passport, visa, or health requirements. No refunds will be provided in such circumstances.
7. Client Responsibility and Conduct
7.1 Compliance: You are responsible for complying with the local laws, customs, and regulations of Sri Lanka.
7.2 Conduct: You are expected to behave in a respectful manner towards local customs, people, and the environment. We reserve the right to terminate your tour immediately without refund if your conduct is deemed detrimental to other clients, staff, or local communities, or if it violates any laws.
7.3 Health: You must inform us of any pre-existing medical conditions, allergies, or disabilities that may affect your ability to participate in the tour activities. We reserve the right to decline a booking if we believe we cannot adequately cater to your needs or if your condition may pose a risk to your or others' safety.
8. Liability
8.1 Limitation of Liability: Ranmini Tours acts only as an agent for the various independent suppliers of services (e.g., hotels, airlines, transportation companies, guides) used in your tour. We shall not be liable for any injury, damage, loss, accident, delay, or irregularity which may be occasioned by reason of any defect in any vehicle, or through the act or default of any company or person engaged in conveying passengers or supplying services.
8.2 Exclusion of Liability: We accept no responsibility for any loss or damage to personal property, or for personal injury or death, unless caused by the proven negligence of Ranmini Tours or its direct employees.
8.3 Indirect Loss: We shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or special loss or damage, including loss of profits, even if such loss or damage was foreseeable.
8.4 Maximum Liability: In any event, our maximum liability for any claim shall not exceed the total tour cost paid by you.
9. Force Majeure
9.1 Ranmini Tours shall not be liable for any delay or failure in performance of our obligations under these Terms and Conditions if such delay or failure arises from any cause beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters (e.g., floods, earthquakes, tsunamis), war, civil unrest, political instability, terrorism, industrial disputes, epidemics, pandemics, government regulations, or adverse weather conditions ("Force Majeure Event").
9.2 In the event of a Force Majeure Event, we reserve the right to modify or cancel the tour. We will endeavor to offer alternative arrangements or a credit for a future tour, but no refunds will be issued for services that could not be provided due to Force Majeure.
10. Complaints
10.1 If you have a complaint during your tour, you must inform your tour guide, driver, or a representative of Ranmini Tours immediately, so that we can endeavor to resolve the issue promptly.
10.2 If the issue cannot be resolved locally, you must submit your complaint in writing to Ranmini Tours within 14 days of your tour completion date. Failure to follow this procedure may affect our ability to investigate and resolve your complaint, and may prejudice your rights.
12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
12.1 These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Sri Lanka.
12.2 Any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms and Conditions or your booking shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Sri Lanka.
13. Acceptance of Terms
By proceeding with your booking and making payment, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions, and that you have the authority to accept these Terms and Conditions on behalf of all persons named in your booking.
